It was early, and it was really cold, but I did manage some stunning sunrise photos in Richmond Park the other morning. Sadly though no deer.

For West London tonights sunset was seriously impressive. I couldn’t resist leaning out of my bedroom window for this
Its 2012. Happy new year
. I’ve been thinking about this a good bit lately, and it’d be a shame to waste this so far. I’d also quite like to do it again – well not quite the same I’m not that much of a glutton for punishment. So I’ve decided that I will be starting a new photography challenge for 2012. Not as hard going as the 365 was, and I really don’t want to be restricted to a 50 mm lens this time. So I’m going for it again with no hard and fast rules, I’m going to aim for 2 photos a week, but some weeks it’ll be more and some weeks less. I’m also going to shot only with prime lenses, but they can be any focal length at all.

I set out to do this 365 for lots of reasons, to give myself a challenge, to improve my photography and because it seemed like a good idea at the time. Its achieved all those things, given me alot of pleasure, some hair tearing moments and hopefully produced a few good photos along the way. I’m not sure how I’m going to keep this blog going yet, best bet at the moment seems a personal photography blog although I’m not going to restrict myself to 50mm from now. I think mI’ll let the challenge of posting something every day relax a little. Maybe a couple of times a week. Anyway, here are my favourite photos from the year. Enjoy
